TTURKISH REFUND AND PAYMENT POLICY

Your acquisition of and remittance for lessons/group classes shall be governed by this Refund and Payment Policy.

PLEASE PERUSE IT DILIGENTLY BEFORE EXECUTING A PAYMENT, AS IT DEFINES YOUR ENTITLEMENTS IN RESPECT TO YOUR ACQUISITIONS, INCLUDING INDISPENSABLE RESTRICTIONS AND EXCLUSIONS.

TTurkish endeavors to ensure a lucid comprehension of financial interactions between Students and Tutors concerning the services we offer. This policy is applicable to all services and functionalities provided through the Website and any affiliated TTurkish mobile device application (collectively, the "TTurkish Platform"). Capitalized terms used and not delineated herein shall bear the respective meanings attributed to them in TTurkish Terms of Service.

Tutor-Student Transactions

​

TTurkish facilitates agreements between Users (Students and Tutors) by furnishing a platform to request, deliver, and remunerate for tutoring services. TTurkish exclusively functions as a platform and under no circumstances shall be party to any agreements between Tutors and Students or assume responsibility for any other service or materials provided by a Tutor. TTurkish shall not be accountable for monitoring transactions between Students and Tutors.

Billing Currency and Foreign Exchange Risk

​

Monetary transactions will be processed in one of the available currencies as displayed at checkout. Presently, the currencies accessible for payments include USD, EUR, and GBP. For your convenience, prices may also be presented in your local currency other than USD, EUR, or GBP. In such instances, the payment transactions will be processed in USD. The prices indicated in currencies other than USD, EUR, or GBP are indicative (for guidance purposes only).

It is imperative to note that if your chosen currency is (a) other than USD, EUR, GBP, or (b) differs from your payment method’s billing currency, your payment may be processed outside your country of residence. Consequently, certain fees may be applicable, such as international transaction fees and foreign exchange fees, and the amount on your bank statement may diverge from the amount indicated at checkout. TTurkish disclaims all liability for such fees and currency fluctuations.

For any queries regarding fees or applicable exchange rates, we recommend contacting your bank or credit card company.

TTurkish Commission

​

A service fee, termed "TTurkish Commission," is levied on Tutors for utilizing our services. TTurkish Commission is imposed on each lesson conducted by the Tutor at the rate specified on the TTurkish Platform. TTurkish retains the right to modify TTurkish Commission at any time and will inform Tutors of any fee adjustments before their implementation.

Processing Fee

​

TTurkish levies a processing fee on Students for utilizing the TTurkish Platform. The processing fee is applicable to each transaction made on the TTurkish Platform and amounts to 5% of the total purchase, not exceeding $10 USD. The pertinent processing fee will be visible at checkout.

Despite the above, TTurkish may alter the fees for platform usage due to promotional offers or new products. Any such modifications will be effective upon posting on the Website or through communicated email correspondence. The processing fee is non-refundable.

TTurkish reserves the prerogative to modify the processing fee with due notice provided to Students before its implementation.

​

Refunds

​

Refund requests should be directed to support@tturkish.com.

In cases where unforeseen circumstances led to missing a lesson/group class or canceling it at short notice, refunds may be granted at the Tutor's discretion, although the Tutor is not obligated to do so.

​

TTurkish is not liable for any fees charged by banks or third-party payment processors and will not cover such fees during the initiation of a refund.

​

Should you opt for a refund, the speed and availability of refunded funds in your bank account will hinge solely on your bank's terms and policies. The exact refund amount will be contingent on the USD to your payment method’s currency exchange rate valid at the date of refund initiation.

A single refund per request will be processed.

​

No refund will be issued if the User has misplaced and/or forgotten their login credentials (username and passwords), resulting in data loss, temporary loss of account access, or other inconveniences.

No refund will be issued if the User loses connection due to lack of internet access, factory reset, or updates.

If a refund request is not submitted within the stipulated period, you can still request the return of credits to your TTurkish account balance. Such credits may subsequently be utilized to schedule lessons/group classes with any other Tutor.

TTURKISH REFUND PROCEDURE

​

To initiate a refund, kindly send an email to support@tturkish.com containing the following details:

​

• Date and time of the lesson

• Reason for the requested refund

• Name of your Tutor

​

The refund decision will be rendered within 30 calendar days. Please be advised that any refunds granted are at our sole discretion to the fullest extent permitted by law.

​

(1) LESSONS PACKAGES If a trial lesson did not take place, you have the option to request: (a) A free trial lesson with another Tutor of your choice on the TTurkish Platform; or (b) A refund of the payment in accordance with the outlined refund procedure herein.

​

In case your scheduled trial lesson did not take place but was mistakenly confirmed, you may request: (a) The transfer of credits to another Tutor; or (b) A refund of the payment in accordance with the refund procedure outlined herein.

The refund option is applicable only within 90 days from the date of payment. TTurkish is not responsible for any fees charged by banks or third-party payment processors and will not cover such fees during the refund initiation.

(2) SUBSCRIPTION The refund policy for subscriptions is delineated in the TTurkish Subscription Services Term.

(3) GROUP CLASSES If a group class is canceled up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time, and the new start date is inconvenient for you, you may join another available group class or request a refund of the corresponding payment.

If a One-time Group Class does not take place due to TTurkish's or the Tutor's fault, you may request a refund. TTurkish does not provide refunds for any purchased Group Course.

CHARGEBACKS

​

In the event of a chargeback by banks or third-party payment processors related to your lesson/group class purchase, you agree that we may suspend access to any and all accounts you have with us. Fees and expenses resulting from chargebacks or payment disputes brought by you, your bank, or a third-party payment processor shall be covered by you.

​

EXPIRED ACCOUNT

​

If you haven’t logged into your TTurkish account for more than 180 days, your account will be suspended, and your remaining balance will expire.

​

DELETION OF AN ACCOUNT

​

If you choose to delete your TTurkish account, your remaining balance will expire. In case TTurkish suspends or terminates your account due to a breach of any of our policies, you understand and agree that you shall receive no refund or compensation for any unused balance or scheduled lessons/classes.

PAYMENT SERVICES

​

Payment processing on the TTurkish Platform is facilitated by third-party payment processors, including but not limited to Braintree, Stripe, PayPal, Skrill, Payoneer, and Wise. This allows us to (a) bill Students instead of directly processing credit/debit card information and (b) enable payouts to Tutors.

​

For clarity, payments made by the Student to TTurkish shall fulfill the Student’s obligation to pay the Tutor for tutoring services provided via the TTurkish Platform. We utilize an integrated iframe for checkouts from third-party payment processors, ensuring secure transactions through SSL encryption protection.

DATA PROVIDED BY YOU

​

You acknowledge that billing information provided for lessons/group classes on the TTurkish Platform is processed by third-party payment processors exclusively. TTurkish does not collect, store, or process your billing information. TTurkish will not be held responsible for any failures of third parties to adequately protect such information. The processing of payments is subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of third-party payment processors in addition to this policy.

You understand that we may change third-party payment processors and require them to transfer your information to other service providers that use secure socket layer technology (SSL) or comparable security technology to encrypt your information.

PAYMENTS

​

Accepted payment methods on the TTurkish Platform include:

• Visa/Mastercard

• PayPal

• Apple Pay

• Google Pay

• Papara

• Bigpay

All payments for the use of the TTurkish Platform and tutoring services shall be made through the TTurkish Platform. Students are responsible for all transaction fees related to payments for the use of the TTurkish Platform and tutoring services.

​

PAYOUTS

​

Tutors receive payments for each confirmed lesson/group class, processed through one of the third-party payment processors available on the TTurkish Platform. Please note that third-party payment processors charge a fee for each transaction, deducted from the respective payout amount and displayed within the TTurkish Platform functionality.

If you are an EU tax resident, you must provide us with your tax information annually as required by Amending Directive (EU) 2021/514 (DAC7 Directive) to withdraw money from your TTurkish Tutor account.

AUTO REFILLS

​

When purchasing a package of hours on the TTurkish Platform, you may be charged on a recurring basis (“Auto Refill”). When you have one or fewer hours left with the Tutor, the same package of hours previously bought by you will be added to your account balance by charging your saved payment method.

​

Auto Refill can be canceled at any time, and settings may be changed in the “Payment methods” section of your account settings. For further details on subscription auto-renewals, refer to the TTurkish Subscription Services Terms.

OTHER

​

TTurkish is not a bank or financial institution and does not provide financial services or advice. Payments via the TTurkish Platform are solely for the purpose of accessing, facilitating, and delivering tutoring services between Students and Tutors. Such payments may not be used for any fraudulent, criminal, or illegal activity as defined by the law.
